Arctic has unveiled its cutting-edge New Age of Ice Rinks technology at the FSB 2025 International Trade Fair just held in Cologne, Germany.
The innovation, a real ice rink integrated with digitally controlled LED RGB elements, left visitors from around the world amazed to discover that the rink’s surface was genuine ice, not a synthetic substitute.
“What delighted us the most was seeing the moment visitors realized the ice was real. Many had to touch it to believe it. This year, we also noticed that more people truly understand our innovative ice rink concepts. Many returned after last year’s fair with concrete questions and collaboration proposals,” said Denis Ventin, Procurator of Arctic.
A fully functional ice rink at the booth
As part of its exhibition, Arctic built a fully operational real-ice rink featuring an LED RGB barrier with illuminated handrails, a digital LED mesh, and integrated LED screens.
This system is particularly captivating because it allows animations and visuals to be projected directly beneath the ice surface, creating an impressive visual experience. The displayed content can be changed in real time – from logos and graphics to thematic animations – within just a few minutes. Alongside its New Age of Ice Rinks product line, Arctic also presented the Rolly Park roller-skating track and modular wooden foldable huts.
“We’re pleased to see that more people are recognizing the potential of the New Age of Ice Rinks concept and that the perception of skating rinks is gradually changing. Visitors increasingly appreciate the need for innovation and a fresh approach in this industry. We’re also thrilled by the growing interest in our Rolly Parks and wooden foldable huts, which have proven to be attractive and practical solutions for seasonal and entertainment events,” added Ventin.
A key step in strengthening Arctic’s international presence
Participation in FSB 2025 in Cologne marks an important milestone for both Arctic and Croatia in positioning themselves on the global market for recreational and sports attractions.
The strong interest and positive feedback from visitors further confirm Arctic’s status as an innovative manufacturer with a clear vision for developing new ice rink concepts and complementary solutions.
